When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
1. Turn off game. Remove glass from playfield.
2. Raise the playfield and identify the drop target area.
3. Remove the springs attached to the drop targets. Do this for all 3 drop targets. Push up on the solenoid rods to ensure the drop targets are in the up position.
4. We will be installing the decals from the top and not by removing the drop target assemblies. If you would like to remove the assemblies to install decals, feel free to do so but we will not be providing support for this method. Please follow the numbering of the screws and bolts. Failure to do so could crack an acrylic.
- Some tips for these screws and bolts as some are very tricky to get to. If you have children with small fingers, it may be helpful.
- Screw 1 - one of the easy ones. You got this!
- Screw 2 - another easy one. I believe in you!
- Bolt 3 - The static target is fiercely in the way here. Be gentle with the acrylic. I used a wrench/spanner to squeeze in there to hold the nut in place.
- Bolt 4 - You can bend the top plastic up a bit to get your spanner/wrench under there. I know Jules is in the way here.
- Bolt 5 - Now that you've released screw 1, this should be straight forward. Get that spanner out again.
- Bolt 6 - Same as bolt 5.
5. Now that we have that top plastic off we can start to apply the decals. The lower plastic can be rotated slightly to get out of your way.
6. While holding the drop target, apply the decal to the front facing side of the drop target. Take your time here and get the placement right the first stick. Using a sharp blade to get the stock decal off is recommended. You can use the backing from the packing slip we sent with your order to stick the stock decals to. Continue the process on the remaining drop targets.
7. Now that the decals are in place, reverse the steps to put the machine back together. Don't forget to re-install the drop target springs!
