When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
1. Above the palyfield, feed the end of the assembly under the plastics and the ramp. The hole you are aiming for is the same one the corrugated tube is using. I did my best to point to it but it is difficult to see. In the image you can see the corrugated tube and the 4 color wire (our assembly).
2. Under the playfield, you will want to find the wire that you just fed thru the playfield. Go ahead and pull about a foot of the wire through. Don't pull so hard that the hat gets pressure applied to it. Identify the board that houses the pop bumper connections. It should be slightly lower and to the left of where the wiring came though. There are 3 pop bumper connections. We recommend that you use the one labeled "Upper Pop Bumper LED". Disconnect connector J802. Connect our assembly and reconnect the stock connector to our rig.
3. Here is an image of the final assembly.
4. Above the playfield, remove the tape backing on the underside of the hat. Orient hat so that the wiring is facing the hole. Place hat down on the acrylic behind the gobstopper. Press firmly.
Under the playfield, pull any loose wiring through.
