When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
Removal of Existing Helicopter Blades Plastic
1. The screw holding the helicopter blade shaft onto the playfield is slightly obscured, and we were unable to access it using a screwdriver. Instead, we were able to unscrew the shaft by lifting up on it and unscrewing it at the same time. This provided enough friction for the screw on the underside to come undone.
2. Remove the screw holding the helicopter blade plastic to the shaft.
Installation of the Replacement Blades
(note that our blades may differ from yours - as we have our first prototype on our game)
1. Remove the tape from the underside of the mount. Notice the three screw hole cut-outs on the bottom that are meant to align with the screws that are in the acrylic on your game.
2. Placing a finger underneath the upper plastic - lift up the plastic enough so that the blade mount and bearing can slide underneath and into place. Be careful not to press the mount all the way onto the acrylic until you have properly aligned the screw cut-outs with the screws.
3. Installation complete!
