These instructions are applicable to the following products: MM-[GAME]-CLIP
There is a need for both tools and experience as well as experience in pinball machines to complete this installation. Plastics should be matched to factory plastics. Depending on the game and position of the protector, some disassembly and readjustment may be necessary. In particular, the angles of ramps may change if the increase in height is not compensated.
Some CLiP sets include mounting material which corresponds to what was required for mounting during the development of the CLiP set. Due to manufacturing tolerances and various production series of the pinball models, additional mounting material may be required.
CLiP sets typically do not include pieces for factory plastics that are clear or unlit. These can include ball trap plastics and airball ramp plastics to name a few.

- Please remove the protective film on both sides before mounting. Protective film can be left on bottom side for games in high-use environments.
- Lift the playfield on to the service rails- for some games, the apron must be removed to complete installation. Place the protector in the shooter lane. Carefully attach the adhesive square with 1/2 on the protector, the other on the playfield.
- Note: for games without a metal ball guard, a plastic piece is included to protect the wooden rails. Please loosen the two screws of the level (installed at the factory), place the angle under the level, and replace the two screws.
- For IRON MAIDEN, users with the Prem/LE game will need to install the small plastic parts included as shown in this photo

Playfield Protectors
These instructions are applicable to the following products: PU-[GAME]-FIELD-[VERSION]
These are basic tips for installation of a playfield protector. These are not comprehensive installation instructions, rather tips that will be helpful during the installation of any protector.
- Take a photo of every part before you remove it; err on the side of excess photos
- Have the following tools handy before starting the project
- Exacto Knife or other small blade
- Phillips screwdriver
- Zip ties
- Socket set
- Allen wrench set
- Playfield cleaning products
- Store screws removed from posts back on the post to keep them matched to the proper install location
- Do not take off the protective coating from either side of the protector until the very last step. This will help avoid getting the protector dirty. Gloves can help ensure finger prints are avoided on the protector surface.
- In some cases its useful to remove the protective film from the bottom of the protector after putting it in place on the game. This is especially helpful in situations where a metal part that is not being removed might scratch the protector during installation.
- Test fit the protector before removing any parts to identify what assemblies must be removed. Continue to test fit the protector throughout the process.
- During the final test fit,
- Identify potential ball traps that may be created with the increased height of the playfield protector. These parts will need to be adjusted so they are flush with the new height of the playfield.
- If your game has lock posts that pop up, run the test mode for these parts to ensure sufficient clearance. In some cases, you may need to trim the protector slightly so these parts can freely move without hitting the protector.
- Please check all contacts, switches, targets and bumper in the contact test of the service menu for perfect function after fitting the field protector and adjust if necessary.
