Does your game have Stern's Expression Lighting?

Expression Lighting comes in two forms and is made by Stern Pinball. It provides interactive lighting that is placed in either the insides of the pinball cabinet and/or the speakers on Spike 2 games. Expression Lighting  is included in some games (primarily LE versions) and can be bought aftermarket for some versions. See below for a detailed version of both the Speaker and the Cabinet versions of Stern's Expression Lighting.

NOTE: If your game has BOTH Expression Cabinet and Expression Speakers, please choose the CABINET version as it provides the light show that matches the cabinet lighting in sequence.

Stern Expression Cabinet Lighting

With the launch of Led Zeppelin Pinball, Stern introduced its Expression Cabinet Lighting system which placed interactive lighting 'rails' along the inside of both sides of the cabinet.

This lighting is mounted inside a specially designed cut out inside both sides of the pinball cabinet. Some titles ship including Expression Cabinet Lighting already installed. 

If your game has this insert, you'll see a long rectangular opening covered by a a black plastic piece (see photo below). This means that your game can be configured with Stern's Expression Lighting System which is sold separately.

Stern Expression Speaker Lighting

With the launch of Jaws Pinball, Stern introduced its Expression Speaker Lighting system which placed interactive light rings inside the backbox, in front of the speakers. Some titles, primarily LE models made after Jaws, include Expression Speaker Lights.

Additionally, Stern offers Expression Speaker Lights for earlier generations of its Spike 2 games. The Stern Expression Speaker Lights are available in two versions- Limited Edition or Pro/Premium.
