DANGER ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Pinball machines have high voltages which can cause DANGER TO LIFE AND LIMB. TURN POWER OFF and UNPLUG PINBALL MACHINE prior to installation. Pinball machines are high voltage and can cause electrical shock.
SAFETY GLASSES are also recommended while working with or installing pinball parts.
Please follow these safety instructions as well as all installation instructions. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the pinball machine, accessory or other parts. When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
For those that are concerned about removing their drop targets, use the beginning steps. The reason why the clear drop targets are included is because the look is a lot better. Their is a denotation where the drop targets need to be replaced.
Install difficulty: Easy
Tools needed: 1/4 nutdriver/wrench, 5/16 nutdriver/wrench, Flat head screwdriver, Philips head screwdriver, needle nose pliers.
- Turn off game. Remove glass from game and set in a safe and secure location.
- If you have gameblades/ art blades, Place the Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors on each side of the machine.
- Remove the Phillips head screw on the left hand side of the plastic holding the captive ball.
- Next, remove the plastic around the Tavern Vuk. The plastic is # [ ]. The two long Phillips's head screws go in the front posts while the smaller flat head Phillips go on the back posts.
- Remove the Phillips head screw at the top of the cube ramp that helps hold the vuk in place.

(optional) Remove the three hex nut's that hold the vuk in place.
- Now, remove the large hex nuts that hold the metal base in place.
- Then remove the two posts on the backside of the metal base.
- Remove the metal base and then remove the washer on the right side of the captive ball plastic.
- Gently lift the plastic up and replace the regular ball with the red one provided.
- Now, go back through the previous steps (i.e. go back to step 9) and put the vuk back together.
