DND - D20 Flasher

DANGER ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Pinball machines have high voltages which can cause DANGER TO LIFE AND LIMB. TURN POWER OFF and UNPLUG PINBALL MACHINE prior to installation. Pinball machines are high voltage and can cause electrical shock.
SAFETY GLASSES are also recommended while working with or installing pinball parts.

When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.

1. Identify plastic -13. It is next to the shooter lane and has a flasher mounted to it.
2. Identify the 3 screws in the image. We will remove them in numerical order. Releasing screw 1 first allows more freedom to get to screw 2 and 3. Using a 1/4" wrench to hold the post in place makes removing the screw easier.
3. With screw 1 removed, you can rotate the plastic to get to nuts and the flasher much easier.
4. Remove screw 2 and 3. This will allow the flasher to be freed. The nuts can be held in place with a 5/16" wrench. Remove the OEM flasher and replace with the black mount. Do the previous steps in reverse. When installing the mount, be sure the tip of the triangle is facing the front of the machine.
5. Remove the backing on the tape. Push the die down onto the mount. Be sure to support the mount and LED from below so you don't add unnecessary force to the OEM acrylic. The color of the die in the final image may vary depending on your color choice.
