Clip Protector Installation Tips

For the installation of any CLiP set, here are some generic steps to follow. 

1. Either remove all the plastics that are on the game, or individually remove a plastic that is located on the playfield. Make sure to place the screw(s)/nut(s) that are holding the plastic in place either in a tray or in a location where you can remember where they go. 
2. Find the corresponding CLiP for the plastic in the set. 
3. Place the CLiP protector where the original plastic was located. 
4. Place the original plastic on top of the CLiP. 
5. Either Screw in the screw or nut holding the plastic back into place. 
6. Return back to step #1 till all CLiP's are placed within the game. 

Game Specific Hardware

For some games, the CLiP set will come with additional hardware that you will need in order for the CLiP set to be properly installed. Each games plastic set is numbered, and the hardware goes with specific numbered plastic. The list of the extra hardware, and installation information (where available) can be found below. Please note, installation information is not available for most sets. Installation information for sets is expected for 2025 games.

A =  2 hex spacers, B = 4 ramp screws, C = 4 screws, D = 2 plastic washers, D1 goes under the red post, E = transparent washer, F = 1 hex spacer and G = 2 Black washers. Click on this link to see where they go.

Godzilla Prem/LE: Plastic #5 (UFO): gets the two additional screws; Plastic #61, #59 and #58 (Mecha spinner area): gets the four additional posts; Plastic #77 (Noddle building sign): gets the two washers; the spinner bracket gets two hex spacers; one additional hex spacer goes behind the drake building and the other two go behind the noodle and theater building.
