ALIEN - Space Truss

These instructions are applicable to the following products:

DANGER ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Pinball machines have high voltages which can cause DANGER TO LIFE AND LIMB. TURN POWER OFF and UNPLUG PINBALL MACHINE prior to installation. Pinball machines are high voltage and can cause electrical shock.
SAFETY GLASSES are also recommended while working with or installing pinball parts.

When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.

Tools and Hardware needed:

• Torx T15 bit/screwdriver

*Due to variations in editions and time of release; fasteners may be different than mentioned

Parts included:

• 15x Mounting guides (1x spares included)
• 2x UNIQUE railing with mounting points (2 segments & a single segment)
• 1x mid-rail (3 segments)
• 1x elbow-rail ( 3 segments)
• 1x mirrored elbow (1.5 segments)
• 1x Female Dovetail 
• 1x Male Dovetail Cautious 

PLAYFIELD

Proceed by removing existing 11x Torx T15 fasteners and 11x washers from the acrylic platform on the left side of the playfield. Keep hardware in a safe location, preferably away from the playfield. 

Take 1x Torx T15 fastener and insert in the provided "Mounting Guide" as shown. 

Screw mounting guide on the existing black hex-posts as shown. Repeat this procedure 9 (Nine) times in the shown locations. Install the BLACK SCREW COVER along with the SINGLE SEGMENT. 

NOTE: UTILIZE THE 2 PREVIOUS SCREWS FROM THAT LOCATION

Left Playfield

• Take longer elbow and slide in the indicated direction (follow the marked arrows for reference). Utilizing the turquoise arrows, apply a small amount to the post in the indicated direction.  
• Take the longer mounting segment and use included #8 washers to have space truss level relative to the existing acrylic. Begin by sliding the segment in the direction of the YELLOW arrow and align the screw holes (marked in BLUE) to the existing post. Use existing hardware to fasten 
  
• Take the mid-rail and look for an arrow underneath the print. The triangle (underneath print) is to be placed towards the player perspective. 
  

TIP: When installing the elbow piece, slight flex of the existing acrylic may be needed. 

Right Playfield

• Take the shorter elbow and position as shown. While using a light to moderate force, proceed to flex existing acrylic for the elbow piece to fall into place. 
• After screw cover is attached, proceed to slide cautious print through the dovetail grove on the screw cover.
