Alien - Airlock LCD Cover

These instructions are applicable to the following products:

Pinball machines have high voltages which can cause DANGER TO LIFE AND LIMB. TURN POWER OFF and UNPLUG PINBALL MACHINE prior to installation. Pinball machines are high voltage and can cause electrical shock.
SAFETY GLASSES are also recommended while working with or installing pinball parts.

When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall them by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.

Required Items:

One LCD Cover

Small Phillips screwdriver (Not included)

Pliers (Not included)

Setup:

Remove the glass and then we recommend lifting the playfield up and out about 5 to 8 inches, this is not necessary but helpful. Don't forget to secure the pinballs with something or remove them and use cabinet protectors (sold separately) to prevent any damage.

Remove the original LCD cover:

Locate the four bolts on the LCD

Use the pliers to hold the nuts on the back of the LCD and then unscrew the bolt with the Phillips screwdriver. You'll need the bolts and nuts to install the new mod, do not discard them.

Caution: the LCD will come off as well, it could fall forward and crack the screen or damage the wires.

Prep:

Take the bolt you removed earlier and insert it through the new cover and then the old cover.

Install:

Insert the bolt through the LCD and the back mount and then reinstall all the bolts and nuts.

Finished!
