When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
- Turn off game. Remove glass from game.
- If you have gameblades/ art blades, Place the Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors on each side of the machine.
- We recommend using the playfield jacks that can be found here for the install of this kit. It is not a requirement but it does cut down on some of the frustration that can be encountered when installing this mod.
- Take a flat head screw driver and unscrew the screws that hold two of the backboard light sockets into place. Of the two that need to be removed, we recommend the red led in front of the Sentinel and Rouge plastic and the white led above Beast. These can be seen in the image below.
- The next steps will show you where we recommend the ramp illumination be placed. Each step will have an image. For the red illumination, we recommend that you place it above the far right ramp. Connect the matrix wire provided to the illumination, and then attached the red colored led that we provide to the other end of it. Once this has been done, then place the red bulb into the socket and screw the socket back into place. If this step is done correctly, then it should like the image below.
- Place the blue and purple illuminations on either side of the two exits for either ramp. Two images have been provided to show how they should look. The first image is a top down look.
- And here is a second image that shows a different angle of how they should look. We recommend that the blue illumination goes on the right side, while the purple illumination goes on the left side. Once you have placed the illumination in the location that you desire, then plug the illumination into one side of the 3-way splitter that has been provided. Also remember to screw the socket back into place that powers the illumination.
- For the left ramp and the second purple illumination, place the illumination above the ramp and then follow the steps from part 5 to make sure it is plugged in correctly. Once this has happened it should look like the image below.
- If the illumination has been installed successfully, it should like the image below. Remember to plug in the matrix bulb that we have provided into the socket that goes above the Beast acrylic and to screw the socket back into place.
- Take the playfield off the playfield jack (if you are using them). Then put the playfield back into position. Once this has occurred, then remove the Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors and slide the glass back into place.
- Install finished! Enjoy your ramp illumination.
