When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
- Turn off game. Remove glass from game and set in a safe and secure location.
- If you have gameblades/ art blades, Place the Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors on each side of the machine. Next remove the pinballs from the trough. Then lift the playfield into the upright position.
- Their are two spots that you can put the Feed the snake light at. Both are listed in this step. One option is to place it amongst a V shaped group of nuts. The image below shows where it can be placed. To secure the bracket, place the bracket on top of the original nut and then screw it in using the provided nut. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE NUT, OTHERWISE THE BRACKET WILL BREAK.
The other place to put it is on the nut circled in the image located below. Note that you will need to use the inner screw hole in the bracket in order to make sure that the snakes mouth can open fully.
- Next, find the connector for the Feed the Snake light. The connector has been circled in the image below. Disconnect the connector. If you are still unsure as to what connector you need to unplug, then look for the 3pin connector that has red and orange wires.
- Now, connect the connector that we provide between the original connections. When done correctly, it should look like the image below.
- To make the illumination work, take the matrix connection sticking out of the connector that we provide and connect it to the led on the bracket. When the bracket is installed on the V shaped group of nuts, it should look like the image below.
And here is an up close version of how the connection should work.
As you can see the connection is running from our connector to the light, so that it works in rhythm with the feed the snake LED. Now, for those who have put the bracket on the other side of the snake, here is an image of how the connection should look.
- Install done! Enjoy the illumination (seen in red in the image below).
