When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
Remove the slingshot plastic; there are two nuts. One at the top and one at the bottom, save the nuts for later.
Remove the flasher dome: hold the nut on the bottom and unscrew it. This will release the LED board and the flasher. Hold onto the LED and bolt/nut for later.
Place the mod/gears onto the acrylic; the pipe will be on the outer side if the pipe feature is on the inside, then swap to the other gear mod. Put the bolt (the factory bolt that held the flasher dome should work here, unless you purchased plastic protectors; if so, then use the provided longer bolts) through the mod, then the acrylic, then the LED, and lastly attach the nut. Tighten past the rubber seal, then keep tightening until the mod/acrylic/LED are all sandwiched together. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Keep it loose; you can tighten it later.
Reattach the acrylic to the playfield using the nuts from before.
Rotate the mod over the bottom nut. If the mod doesn't move easily, STOP. It might scratch the acrylic, loosen the mod. Use pliers or a wrench to hold the nut on the bottom side of the acrylic. Move the mod into place, then retighten.
Then repeat for the other side. Thank you.
