When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.

Install the PixlWav Power System (RED)

Note: please use this video as a visual reference; the HUB boards used in this video differ from the Dynamic and Expression Kits. The written instructions explain the specific installation.

1. Gather power adapter, 2 channel hub board  and 3M adhesive included in the Power & Control Parts (with red dot).
2. Open backbox, locate Power Distribution board cover and unplug SLK Power Supply (not used in the final installation).
3. Unplug Speaker Light Kit LEDs from the Flaming Controller; unplug the Flaming Controller from the power supply.
4. Attach the PixlWav Power to the dollar bill validator connection.
5. Attach the 2-Channel Pickup/HUB board in the backbox using the existing hardware next to the Power Distribution box.
6. Plug the 5v DC power cable from the PixlWav Power to the PixlWav 2-Channel Hub Input jack (labeled 2 on PixlWav Flaming Pickup/Hub Connector Key).
7. Connect the stub connectors to the SLK Controller and to the PixlWav 2-Channel Hub (labeled 1 on the PixlWav Flaming Pickup/Hub Connector Key).
   
   
   

Expansion Wiring (YELLOW)

1. Gather the YELLOW parts. Utilize zip ties provided to tie the Ethernet Cable and the DC Power Extension cable together.
2. Attach the Ethernet Cable to the previously installed PixlWav Flaming Hub  in the backbox (labeled 5 on PixlWav Flaming Pickup/Hub Connector Key).
3. Attach the DC Power Extension Cable to the previously installed PixlWav Flaming Hub (labeled 6 on PixlWav Flaming Pickup/Hub Connector Key).
4. Make sure Ethernet fully clips into place. Tighten Hub mount as necessary.
5. Feed joined cables into the cabinet.
6. Remove glass and lift playfield onto service rails. Determine desired mounting point for second PixlWav 2-Channel Hub board (cabinet back or base). Utilize 3M tape provided to mount holding in place firmly to activate adhesive.
7. Attach Ethernet to cabinet PixlWav Hub (labeled 3 on PIxlWav Flaming Cabinet Hub Connector Key). Make sure Ethernet fully clips into place.
8. Attach the DC power extension cable to the cabinet PixlWav Hub on the DC Power Input jack (labeled 2 on PIxlWav Flaming Cabinet Hub Connector Key).
9. Ensure source switch on cabinet Hub board is set to ETH (labeled 1 on PIxlWav Flaming Cabinet Hub Connector Key).

LED Channel Preparation and Backbox Channel Installation Steps

1. Gather LIGHT GREEN and PURPLE labeled parts.
2. Mount LED strip in channel; place diffuser on top of channel, snapping into place. Add end cap to channel end.
3. The channel diffuser can be easily slid into place using the technique shown in this video.
   
   

Install Backbox Lighting (LIGHT GREEN/PURPLE)

NOTE: MOUNTING PLACEMENT IS CRITICAL TO ENSURE ATTACHMENT TO METAL BACKBOX. CHANNEL EXTENDS ON TO WOOD CABINET AND IMPROPER MAGNET PLACEMENT WILL RENDER MOUNT USELESS.

PLEASE VIEW VIDEO AND READ INSTRUCTIONS ENTIRELY PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF MAGNET MOUNTS.

1. Mount first channel magnet bracket at the top end of the channel (wire end). 
2. Mount second magnet bracket at least 6" from end of channel to ensure attachment to metal backbox.
3. Attach JST wire extension to ends of each channel LED.
4. Run wire extension through top of backbox (use topper wiring hole). Utilize wire clips as desired to keep wiring on backbox in place.
5. Attach JST stub connector to end of JST wire extension and plug into Channel 1 and 2 on PixlWav Flaming Pickup Hub (mounted inside backbox) in the area labeled 4.
6. Attach JST stub connectors to each LED on the existing Speaker Light kit. Attach to PixlWav Flaiming Pickup Hub in the area labeled 3. Ensure all connections in area 3 and 4 are consistent. Left side on Channel 1, right side on Channel 2.
   

Install Undercabinet Lighting (Light Green)

1. Gather remaining GREEN labeled parts along with flathead and Philips screwdrivers.
2. Repeat LED strip mounting steps for under cabinet channels outlined in previous step.
3. Utilize Flathead screwdriver to open up one of the wire covered vents in the back base of the cabinet.
4. Determine mounting preference for under the cabinet; 3M adhesive or screw mounted brackets are provided.
5. Mount LED channel brackets or adhesive at outside cabinet edge and ~10" and 33" from back cabinet edge (see video in DYNAMIC chapter for visual details).
6. Attach channel to cabinet ensuring wire ends are no greater than 6" from end of cabinet.
7. Attach JST wire extension to each LED.
8. Feed JST wire extensions into cabinet.
9. Attach JST stub connectors to JST wire extensions and plug into a channels 1 and 2  on cabinet Flaming PixlWav Hub (mounted inside cabinet) in the area labeled 4. Be sure to match the left and right orientations used for the backbox and speaker lights.
