When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall them by turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
1. Prep
The tape is plan B for this mod; it should only be used if the tolerance of the metal bracket behind the mine entrance is off. If our clips don't fit in your game, snip them off and use the tape to attach the mod. Otherwise, the tape and tape covers should be left on.
2. Install
The clips (Circled below) should fit into the metal bracket (Dashed Rectangles below) located behind the mine entrance.
The feet on the mod need to face the front of the playfield.
To install the gold, there's a small arrow on the bottom that points to the front of the playfield (our recommendation).
The tape on the gold is optional, this allows for even more customization by giving you the option to place something else in the cart.
Note:
The grey cart sits loosely inside the yellow frame so you can adjust its angle. In some cases, the fit may be a little too loose. If that happens, we’ve included a single-use glue so you can secure the cart to the frame once you’ve set your preferred angle (optional).
How to use the single-use glue (optional):
Test-fit first: Adjust the cart until the angle looks right.
Prep the surfaces: Make sure the contact areas are clean and dry (wipe off dust/oils).
Apply sparingly: Add a small amount of glue where the cart meets the frame—avoid moving joints or areas you don’t want bonded.
Set the angle: Hold the cart in position while the glue grabs.
Let it cure: Keep it undisturbed until fully set before using/handling.
