When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.
Whats needed:
|
Lift the playfield up and out and locate the original Statue of Liberty in the back left corner
Unscrew the 3 nuts holding the acrylic to the playfield, save the nuts in a safe place (needed for a later step)
Rock/lift the front of the acrylic up first then lift the acrylic up and out
Grab the new MM-SOL and feed the wire in the hole that was under the original Statue
Almost the same step to remove the original Statue but now in reverse;
- line up the back left bolt first, its the hardest to reach (1 in the image below)
- place the right bolt through the acrylic (2 in the image below)
- line up the front left bolt before laying the acrylic down (3 in the image below)
Grab the nuts from before and screw them back on, the right nut should only be tightened down enough to be just above or just on the acrylic for two reasons. To prevent damaging the decal on the acrylic and over-tightening the nut will cause the bolt the nut is on to screw into the playfield potentially damaging it
Plug the SOL into the JJP Power Tap (Click here for Power Tap Install Steps)
