When removing screws from the playfield, reinstall by first turning them counter-clockwise to match the original groove in order to respect the integrity of the playfield wood.

Remove the glass and lift the playfield up. Don't forget to secure the pinballs with something or remove them and use cabinet protectors (sold separately) to prevent any damage.
Locate this bolt and these two screws:
And remove them (two Phillips screws and one 11/32 nut) and the acrylic (the image below is a before and after)
Grab the Amp and separate the bottom from the top
Twist/slide the bottom part of the Amp onto the ramp
Push the bottom half past the original speaker amp acrylic and grab the top half of the Amp
Align the side pieces/panels (black and red) with the base's (gold) grooves in all four corners
Press the top and bottom together and grab the wire coming out of the top
Feed the wire behind the kickback target, make sure the wire is on the right side of the ramp
Temporarily move the wire down into the metal guardrail and grab the acrylic replacement, note the cutout in the back of the acrylic replacement. This cutout will allow the wire to be secured away from the ball and up to the Amp in a later step
Screw in the acrylic replacement with one of the original screws, and slide the Amp over top of the acrylic replacement (the ramp should still be loose and easily lifted up to give the Amp plenty of room to slide on the acrylic replacement)
Lift the playfield up, 1. is the kickback target, 2. is the wire you fed down, 3. is where the wire will get plugged in at a later step
Grab the wire from the bottom of the playfield and pull the excess wire from the top, the next step will show where to secure the wire, so leave a little wire up top.
Feed the wire through the channels on the back of the Amp then through the cutout on the acrylic replacement, then pull any excess wire to the bottom of the playfield.
Foo Fighters has two G.I. circuits, a red one and a white one. You can decide when the light in the Amp goes off by picking what circuit you want to tap into. With the replacement lights/connectors (top left image below) that we sent it's easy to tell which is which by looking at the ring on the middle of the light/connector. The ones in the game already are not visible, but you can tell by the wiring. There's a yellow wire going to both lights but the other wire is color-coordinated. White wires for the white G.I. and of course red wires for the red G.I. either are fine but for the following steps, we will be using the white G.I.
Unscrew (1/4 screw) the light, then push the bulb down, twist it, and pull it out.
Attach the new bulb by pushing the socket down and twisting, then screw the light back to the playfield, make sure the connector is still accessible from the bottom of the playfield.
Plug the Amp mod into the new connector you just added
Reuse the twist-tie or a zip-tie (not included) to bundle the wire up
Set the playfield down and screw the ramp back down with the washer and the nut (11/32 nut)
